WOONSOCKET, R.I. (AP) — Voters in Woonsocket are set to cast their ballots in the city's mayoral race.

State Rep. Lisa Baldelli-Hunt faces current Mayor Leo Fontaine in Tuesday's municipal election, which also features races for city council.

Baldelli-Hunt easily beat out Fontaine and two other candidates in a mayoral primary last month. As the two top vote-getters, she and Fontaine advanced to the general election. The race is non-partisan.

Voters will also be casting ballots in Central Falls Tuesday, but there's only one contested city council race. Mayor James Diossa is on the ballot but he faces no opposition.

Polls in both cities will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Secretary of State Ralph Mollis reminds voters to bring current and valid identification to comply with the state's voter ID law.
