A photographer was out enjoying enjoying an safari in South Africa when he stumbled on to the unusual site.
Max Waugh, a Seattle WA photographer was out on the job in South Africa photographing a family of mongoose when he stumbled on the unusual site of three squirrels engaging in intercourse in a near by tree.
Not one to let this rare opportunity pass him up, Max snapped a couple of photos of the trio. Since then the photos have gone viral with thousands of people weighing in and commenting on the site.
In an interview with Ladbible Max said, "It was completely unexpected, and obviously appeals to one's more juvenile sense of humor. More seriously, I am always excited to capture rare and unexpected animal behavior."
