First Time Ever!

I missed this one first time around, but it is worthy of a mention. Back on April 3rd, Brown University Baseball beat Holy Cross in Worcester, 3-0. Four Bears pitchers combined for the first no-hitter in Brown Baseball history. Paxton Myers, Bobby Olsen, Charlie Beilenson, and Jack Seppings.

Seppings struck out the last batter and claimed he was unaware of its significance until all his teammates rushed the mound to celebrate. You gotta' love that.

First one in 159 years of baseball at Brown: 3,485 games.

As Bill Koch of The Providence Journal wrote, "when they first started playing baseball at Brown, Abraham Lincoln was our president.

The Bears have had plenty of success on the diamond over the years, and now they have a no hitter.
