It's been a while since we have seen Ke Huy Quan. Growing up, I remember idolizing him as Indiana Jones's sidekick, Short Round in Temple of Doom and as "Data" in the Goonies. But for the next 30 years...he sort of disappeared.
Fast forward to this amazing movie Everything Everywhere All at Once. Ke Huy Quan gets to pick up a supporting actor role to Michelle Yeoh...and just scored the Golden Globe for his excellent performance. But what everyone is talking about is his acceptance speech last night. It's a real tear-jerker and proof that some people do indeed get the 2nd chance they so deserve.
