Def Leppard Drummer Rick Allen Violently Assaulted Outside Hotel

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, who as we all know tragically lost his left arm in a serious car accident in 1984, was hanging around outside the Four Seasons hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach having a cigarette after a Def Leppard show, when he was allegedly violently and randomly attacked by a 19 year-old man from Ohio. The police report that Allen "hit his head on the ground causing injury." When a woman ran out of the hotel to help Allen, the assailant allegedly attacked her as well. The suspect was later arrested and Allen has informed authorities that he will be pressing charges. Read the full story from Channel 7 Miami HERE.
