It's the anniversary of the breakup of rock and roll's first super group, Cream. It was 55 years ago that Eric Clapton announced he would be leaving the band - ironically, the member who would be, by far, the most famous, said it was the personality clashes between singer Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker that led to the break up. The trio didn't perform again until 1993, when Cream was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. By the way, Clapton is the only person inducted into the Hall three times!
