Kirk Hammett Admits Metallica Paid Musical Tribute To '60's "Batman" Theme

Kirk Hammett has admitted that Metallica did indeed pay tribute to the theme song of the 1960s Batman TV show for one of the songs on 72 Seasons.

It appears about four minutes and 20 seconds into "Shadows Follow" and fans began posting videos about how you could sing the theme's lyrics of "Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na" over the riff. 

Hammett admitted, "That’s really funny, because we called that riff ‘The Batman Riff’, and I know exactly what you are talking about." Read the full story HERE.
