Sammy Hagar has said many times that he has tried to reach out to former bandmate Alex Van Halen after Eddie's death and also to beg him to join he and Michael Anthony on the Van Halen-heavy "Best Of All Worlds Tour". While Sammy still believes there is a big part of Alex that simply no longer wants to perform without his legendary brother, Hagar is also starting to suspect that the lawyers and publishers of Alex's forthcoming memoir, "Brothers", focused on the times he and Eddie shared in Van Halen, instructed Alex to have zero contact with David Lee Roth or Hagar.

Hagar should also realize from having written his hard-hitting autobiography "Red", published in 2011 and which repeatedly bashed Eddie, that such projects can create a LOT of bad blood, even between once great friends or bandmates. Alex' book "Brothers" will be released October 22. Read the full story about Sammy's thoughts on Alex HERE.
