Sully Erna Teams Up With Mark Walhberg's Foundation To Fight Opiod Crisis

Godsmack rocker Erna Sully released his second solo album in September and his latest music video tackles America's opiod crisis.

The clip for "Different Kind of Tears" tells the story of teenage angst gone bad from the perspective of a heartbroken parent. If that's not sad enough, the clip features actual footage from parents who've lost their children to opioid overdose.

Along with the Recovery Centers of America, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, which is dedicated to making sure no child is limited by financial circumstances, helped Sully with the video. "This video addresses one of the most serious health issues facing our society today," explains producer Jim Wahlberg, the Executive Director of the foundation and brother of Mark, explains. "Addiction touches every culture, every family and ultimately every one of us. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with a very talented musician on this important project."
