Disneyland Paris Tells Mom Her Boy Can’t Be A “Princess For A Day”

Hayley McLean-Glass describes her three-year-old son Noah as a "Frozen" superfan, who dresses up like his favorite character, Princess Elsa, almost every day. She says she was devastated when she tried to book the "Princess For a Day" experience for Noah, only to receive an email saying "at this time it is not possible to book Princess For a Day for a boy."

The British mom wrote about what had happened on her blog, pointing out that Disney even has a Pride Day in October and asked if the diversity was only reserved for that day. The response has been overwhelming with organizations offering to create a princess experience for Noah.

Disneyland Paris issued an apology, calling the incident an "isolated event" and they have contacted the family. A representative for the park said, "Of course, both boys and girls are welcome to enjoy the Princess For a Day experience in addition to all our other special activities." The company says they will insure this type of response to a request never happens again.
