Sing-Along Version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Hits Theaters Friday

A special sing-along version of Queen's Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is being released in 750 U.S. movie theaters Friday, January 11, according to a new announcement from Fox and New Regency.

The film took home two Golden Globes last weekend, one for Best Drama Motion Picture and another for lead actor Rami Malek for Best Actor in a Drama Motion Picture.

This alternate version of the film will feature on-screen lyrics to the film's hit-laded soundtrack, which includes songs like "Another One Bites the Dust, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "We Are the Champions, "We Will Rock You" and the title track, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

In December, Bohemian Rhapsody became the highest-earning music biopic of all-time, earning more than $500 million in theaters.

The film's success has also pushed Queen's music back up the charts. The song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was back on the Billboard Top 100 for the third time in its history (each previous chart position occurred in a different decade).
