It's been 13 years since the last episode of 'The Sopranos' premiered on HBO. Despite there being interest for spin offs, movies, and sequels the death of James Gandolfini in June of 2013 put a hold on any projects. Until now.
2021 promises to deliver the long awaited prequel to 'The Sopranos'
Set to be released September 24th, 2021 'The Many Saints of Newark' will be HBO's response to the decade long clamoring for more.
The movie, staring none other than James Gandolfini son Michael as a young Tony Soprano, as he and his crew take on the Newark Riots.
While a full trailer has yet to be released, we did get to see glimpse of Michael looking remarkably like is father in HBO's Same Day Trailer below.
