Real Estate Continues At Red Hot Rate

House Prices continue to increase in the state.

The median price for a single-family house in Rhode Island in the third quarter was 385-thousand-dollars.

The state Association of Realtors says that is an all-time quarterly high.

Multi family properties are increasing in price as well.

Part of the increase is being driven by supply and demand. Another part by interest from people outside of the area.

Out-of-state buyers made up nearly 25-percent of residential sales, the most coming from Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut.
