Gov: "Let Me Be Clear- Actions Like This Will Not Be Tollerated"

A Pawtucket man who allegedly made a bomb threat to Temple Beth-El in Providence after the Hamas attack on Israel last weekend made his first court appearance yesterday.

Vincent Johnson was arraigned in District Court for making a false bomb threat and disorderly conduct.

He was granted bail and ordered to stay away from the temple.

Governor Dan McKee said actions like this are unacceptable.

Congressman Seth Magaziner also released a statement about the bomb threat incident, saying acts of violent hate are on the rise in our country, and he urged everyone to remain vigilant.
