Lots Of Questions- Voters Have Answers

Voters across Rhode Island largely approved proposed projects on Election Day.

Central Falls voters approved all three charter amendments before them, by adding a non-discrimination and equality provision, approving hiring preferences for the Department of Public Safety, and modernizing election laws.

Barrington, Bristol, Cumberland, East Greenwich, Lincoln, Middletown, and Warren voted to fund improvements and construction of school buildings.

Meanwhile, North Kingstown voters rejected a 222-million dollar "mega bond" for a new school plus a public safety complex.
