Winter Heating Aid Applications Now Accepted

Applications are now being accepted for winter heating assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

The Department of Human Services anticipates Rhode Island will get 26-million-dollars in federal funding.

Based on income, eligible applicants will receive a one-time payment of up to eleven-hundred-dollars per household.

Application information is available on the DHS website or from a local Community Action Agency.
