Higher sale prices and mortgage rates are apparently not discouraging home buyers in Rhode Island.
The state Association of Realtors reports single-family home sales jumped last year for the first time since 2020, fueled by out-of-state buyers.
Almost 77-hundred single-family homes were sold in 2024, a three-point-three percent increase from the previous year.
The median price was 475-thousand-dollars, 12-percent higher that in 2023.
