Testimony in the retrial of Karen Read over the death of her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe is expected to begin this week in Dedham Superior Court.
Twelve jurors and four alternates have been seated for the retrial, as her first trial last year ended in a hung jury.
The judge hopes to add two more jurors today, with opening statements likely tomorrow.
Prosecutors have charged Read with second degree murder, saying she hit O'Keefe with her SUV and left him to die in a snowstorm.
Read says she left O'Keefe at the Canton home of another Boston cop, and he was killed there by others.
