Governor Submits Federal Funding Application For Rural Health Care

Governor Dan McKee says Rhode Island has formally submitted an application for federal funding under the Rural Health Transformation Program.

The program through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is designed to strengthen and modernize health care in rural communities.

The Governor's application outlines the state's goal to expand access to high-quality, low-cost care and address the unique health challenges facing Rhode Island's 18 rural communities.
