Wyatt Detention Facility Inmate Accused Of Smuggling Drugs

An inmate at the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility is accused of smuggling drugs inside the prison.

Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom says Brian Slutzkin has been charged with possessing contraband in prison and possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute.

According to Bloom, officers searched Slutzkin and found drugs inside of a sock containing seven balloons made from latex gloves.

The balloons were allegedly filled with distributable quantities of a powder containing fentanyl, pills containing oxycodone hydrochloride and acetaminophen and strips containing buprenorphine and naloxone, and marijuana.
