RI Snow Removal Continues Ahead Of A New Weekend Storm

Rhode Island continues its snow removal efforts after last weekend's winter storm, as the state prepares for another round of snow.

More than a foot of snow fell in some parts of the state and crews have been working nonstop to clear the roads.

In Providence crews have removed nearly 300 truckloads of snow.

In addition to the snow, the region is dealing with a wind chill that makes it feel like 18-below in some areas.

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:00 this morning.

Snow is forecast for Saturday night and Sunday with a few inches of accumulation expected.
