Applications are now open for the Housing 2030 Public Developer Program.
The ten-million-dollar initiative is funded through Rhode Island's 120-million-dollar housing bond that was approved by voters in 2024.
This program enables Public Housing Authorities and their nonprofit affiliates to develop and preserve affordable rental housing statewide.
State leaders say that will expand housing opportunities for renters and help advance the goal of permitting 22-hundred-50 new, affordable rental homes by 2030.
