A Friday afternoon police pursuit in Coventry led to a crash and the arrest of two suspects.
Officers responded to a shoplifting call at a store at Centre of New England Boulevard, but the suspects had left the store.
Police spotted the suspects in a vehicle that struck another car and fled the scene.
Police pursued the suspects who crashed into a tree and ran, bringing in assistance from West Greenwich and Rhode Island State Police to locate them. Law enforcement deployed K-9 units and drones to find the suspects, and they were taken into custody.
Both men were injured and were taken to the hospital.
