City Of Providence To Offer Free Meals For Youth Beginning

Providence Mayor Brett Smiley says beginning June 29th, free community meals will be available for young people 18 and under at 30 locations across the city.

No identification is required for the meals, kids can just show up at one of the locations and enjoy a healthy meal.

City leaders say the Eat Play Learn initiative that supports children and families by giving them access to nutritious food, outdoor play, skill-building opportunities, and creative enrichment throughout the summer.
