The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for much of southern New England from 11 a.m. today until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Cape Cod and the Islands are not included in the advisory; however the hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the potential for heat-related illnesses.
Residents are advised to stay well-hydrated, remain in air-conditioned rooms and never leave children or pets in unattended vehicles.
And we won't be able to look for some rain to cool us off.
There is no rain in any of the forecasts this week.
