Persimmon Now Offers Brunch Once a Month

I ain't gonna lie to ya...Persimmon is my favorite restaurant in the Ocean State. Chef Champe Speidel has been nominated 7 times for a James Beard award, most recently this year, and there's a good reason for that: he knows what the hell he's doing!

Persimmon offered brunch in its original location in Bristol back in the day, and Chef Speidel always wanted to do the same in the new location on Hope Street in Providence. But a newer, larger restaurant had its challenges, and it took a couple of years to get to the point where they were comfortable enough to offer a fine dining brunch experience.

And it rocks!

Great food, great creative cocktails, and excellent service.

Unlike some other brunches in town, Persimmon allows you to make reservations, which means you're not going to be standing on line for an hour, waiting to get in.

Right now, brunches are being served on the first Sunday of every month. However, it will be on the 2nd Sunday in April (to be closed on Easter) and it will be the 2nd Sunday in May (to be open for Mother's Day.) We've already signed up for Mother's Day brunch, and I highly suggest you do the same!

And don't forget to visit Persimmon for dinner as well...some of the finest dining you will experience in Rhode Island!
