Set a reminder for this Friday. Dave Grohl’s metal EP, recorded as the fictional band in the Foo Fighters’ movie “Studio 666,” "Dream Widow." Grohl says the idea was that the band’s metal opus would release the demon in the movie’s house once it was finished, then decided to make an entire Dream Widow record that “would be their lost album that they recorded before they were murdered.”
The first single from the EP, “March of the Insane,” was released last month, and “Studio 666” is now available on demand after a run in theaters.
