The Ultimate Fake Out

This guy, Jered “Threatin” Eames, wanted to become the next big thing in heavy metal but the traditional route wasn't working for him so he faked his was into the public eye. “It’s a publicity stunt,” he says, “but the music is very real.” Looks the the music is the only thing that real. He faked the band, record label, PR company and the management company websites. He used stock footage to help make his videos and fake the crowd turnout. He even booked a 10 city European tour that ended up being canceled once word got out about him playing to an empty room. (see pic below)
That takes some serious effort. Good for him for putting in all that work to get some publicity. The things people do for attention...
