Sometimes you have to set professionalism aside...and just be a parent.
That's exactly what this meteorologist did while live on the news. He knew his kids would be playing video games and NOT watching the news. So he took a break from the broadcast and called his kids live on TV to tell them to get downstairs because of the impending tornado.
This might be one of the most relatable moments for any parent. Think about it. Your kids are probably "gaming" or on a "tablet" and likely not watching the news. Sometimes you just have to toss that job aside to make sure your kids are safe and I think everyone watching would have done the same thing.
