If you plan to travel this Thanksgiving...the TSA is asking you to double or even triple-check your bags. Basically so you don't wind up like this guy!
This gentleman was staying with a lady friend prior to hopping on a plane. That lady friend happens to have a cat by the name of Smells (yes...like smell/smelly). Turns out that Smells LOVES suitcases. She didn't even think to check her friend's luggage before he left for his flight and that's when the craziness began.
The TSA X-Rays most checked luggage (yes, this bag was checked). When they did, they found "Smells" in this guy's suitcase. He was questioned about that cat and the TSA didn't believe him. They called the cat's owner to let her know that he was "stealing" her cat...and did she want to press charges? She explained that Smells loves suitcases and the whole thing was a giant mistake.
She traveled to JFK to retrieve Smells and the cat is doing great! And big thanks to the TSA for sharing the photos for our enjoyment! Check out the tweet and the selection of photos...including the X-Ray below!
