Now that the nice weather is finally here for good - it's the perfect time to explore the great outdoors and find some cool news spots. I'm always down for a good hiking weekend whether its a big ol' mountain or a tiny hill or trail. This place is easy to get to AND it's not anything crazy difficult so the most experienced hikers and the most casual walkers alike can enjoy it - also, it's a pretty damn cool place to check out!
Seeing any kind of active railroads are a rarity these days but the tunnels crafted centuries ago for trains certainly still remain today and there is a pretty sweet looking one right in our backyard at the Steep Rock Preserve...about an hour west of Hartford.
