So did you see where the NFL turned down an ad for the Super Bowl Game Program... a full page ad from AMVETS...the veterans organization...it said in bold type...PLEASE STAND....
An NFL spokesman said, "The Super Bowl game program is designed for fans to celebrate the game, the players and the teams in the Super Bowl....It's never been a place for political statements."
I understand the point....and it is their right to refuse the ad and the money for it....but before players started taking a knee, I never remembered the sideline of a football field to be a place for political statements...
What is your opinion?...Should the NFL have allowed the ad in the game program?
