So the students at Parkland High School in Florida returned to class yesterday to take the first step toward resuming their lives....
I know they did, because every media outlet known to man was there to ask any of those kids that would stop and talk to them the same questions they have been asking for a couple of weeks....
How about, yesterday, on their first day back, you refrain from sticking a camera in their faces and allow them to attempt to come to terms with the emotions of returning to the scene of the biggest horror of their lives....
I understand the coverage of the aftermath....and the coverage of the many public events to try and affect change....but the day they have to come back together and face the awful memories while they try and find a shred of normalcy?....Please....that's not journalism....that's putting your camera where it doesn't belong.
