Our buddy Dave, the semi-disgruntled postal worker, wrote another concert review for us! Phil Collins was at TD Garden last night…visually, this is shocking, (click below) Phil not only looks really old but he’s literally just sitting in a chair singing. At first glance it looks like a convention for the AARP…and his bass player standing next to him looks like an ancient wizard from Lord of the Rings! Phil wrote a zillion hit songs in the day and he has a killer band around him. Dave says they sounded great, especially Phil’s son playing the drums. But Dave made an interesting observation: Phil’s voice sounded like…quoting here… “Al's imitation of Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies!” Here’s a clip from last night…you be the judge!
