Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has announced that, after initially postponing the Boston Marathon, it has now been officially cancelled for the first time in 124 years due to COVID-19. Shame to see such a tradition leave us for a year, but definitely the prudent thing to do given the numbers of runners and close quarters. Maybe next year.
