Well....I hope you're happy...You don't have Brett Brown to kick around anymore. The head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers was fired yesterday after being swept by Boston in the first round of the NBA playoffs...Brown was with Philly for 7 seasons including "the tanking years", where they were losing on purpose to get the best draft picks...( or at least we hope they were)
In his first 3 years Brown's teams were 19-63, 18-64 and 10-72....that combines for a 3 season record of 47-199.....(at least they kept it under 200)
So, the real question isn't why did he get fired.....it's how in hell did he get 2 contract extensions after that 47-199 start?
Celtics vs Toronto ...Game one Thursday night....I don't feel great about this series....
Bruins try to get up 2 games on Tampa Bay tonight....If it is anything like game 1 was....we are in for another classic....these 2 teams hate each other...
...And the Red Sox play Toronto ....appropriately the game is in Buffalo at the Blue Jays AAA stadium....The Sox should feel right at home....
