Brian Flores is suing the NFL, The Giants, Dolphins and Broncos alleging inappropriate hiring practices as it pertains to opportunities for minorities.
Very serious stuff.....
His accusations could shed light on some widespread wrongdoing in the NFL...
But I can't get the references he made to Bill Belichick out of my mind....
Flores claimed the Giants interviewed him for their head coaching vacancy after they had already decided on someone else, only to satisfy the Rooney Rule that mandates a minority gets an in-person interview for any head coach's job...
Flores says Bill Belichick accidently sent him a text saying the Giants were picking him for the job.....Flores hadn't interviewed for the job yet.....Bill meant to send that text to another Brian....Brian Daboll, offensive coordinator for the Bills, who ended up getting the Giants job.....
Bill later texted Flores saying.." Sorry, I F'd up...."
You gotta love BB's innocent fumbling and bumbling of modern technology providing evidence of cheating in the NFL.....
