For the 3rd year, Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter is participating in this amazing statewide day of giving. About 85% of the animals coming into the shelter need significant care. For example, Millie (pic attached), a sweet brindle pit-mix, has received over $2,000 in veterinary care since coming to the shelter and her adoption fee is only $165. Adopters never pay for the extras, and because of our donors, we never have to choose who does and doesn't receive needed care.
On Friday April 1st, 401Gives offers matching donations and prizes, and all donations received directly help our shelter animals.

8th Annual Crafting for Critters Craft Fair
Saturday, May 7
Held outdoors on Saturday May 7, 2022 at the Airport Professional Park, 2348 Post Road, Warwick, RI from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Browse over 60 regional crafters and artisans, featuring jewelry, home decor, apparel, pet products, candles, jam & jellies, chocolates, doll clothing, fine art, custom made products and more. Just in time for Mother's Day, pickup a gift for Mom, something for you, something for your pets! Free admission and free parking. 14th Annual Cause for Paws Classic Car Show
Sunday, June 12
The 14th Annual Cause for Paws Classic Car Show will roar to life on Sunday June 12, 2022 at 171 Service Place, located at 171 Service Ave., Warwick, RI 02886. Antique Cars, Classic Cars to 1999, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Exotics, Rat Rods, Custom Cars, Antique Trucks (including Fire Trucks) and All-year Corvettes are invited to exhibit. Free admission and parking for spectators.
REGISTER: 9 AM to 12 PM, with free goody bags and commemorative Dash Plaques to the first 100 entries.
ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per car.
TROPHIES: awarded at 2 PM to the top 50 cars, as voted by participants, including Best of Show, People’s Choice and Best Club Participation.
MUSIC: oldies music by Cruisin’ Bruce Palmer
WIN: door prizes and raffles, including a 50/50 raffle.
Bring a can of wet dog food or wet cat food for the animals at Warwick Animal Shelter and receive an additional door prize ticket.
Food and refreshments will be available.

Anyone interested in adopting a cat or dog can visit Warwick Animal Shelter at 101 Arthur Devine Blvd., Warwick RI 02886. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 12 - 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday 11 am - 3 pm. Closed Thursdays and holidays.
