Aerosmith To Drop More Previously Unreleased '70's Material

62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards - Show

Hardcore Aerosmith fans were blown away last year's release of The Road Starts Hear, which contained previously unheard rehearsal recordings of Aerosmith's earliest material, most of it recorded in dorm rooms.  Well, Joe Perry says there is a LOT more unreleased material, he said the record company was obsessive about recording every moment of Aerosmith in the studio back in the 1970s and he said there are some real gems in there, many alternate versions of some of their biggest hits.  The guitarist says they plan to release something from the files once a year… but he added, quote, "it's not like we're just going to sit back and curate our museum. It's part of our history, but we're still going out there and doing it."  And they are doing it live at Fenway Park on September 8th, that’s their 50th anniversary show.
