Carlos Santana Collapses Onstage At Show, Taken To Hospital

A scary moment onstage last night for guitar legend, Carlos Santana.  The Hall of Famer collapsed about an hour into his show at the Pine Knob Theatre outside of Detroit.

The good news is that Santana waved to the crowd as he was being wheeled offstage on a gurney. He was taken to the  hospital for observation and, fortunately is doing well ….as a matter of fact he posted on the Santana Facebook page this morning that he just didn’t drink enough water yesterday and collapsed with heat exhaustion as he was severely dehydrated. 

Doctors say he needs to rest for a day or two so their show tonight in Pennsylvania was cancelled.  A frightening moment but all is apparently well for the 74 year old Carlos Santana.
