Brian Johnson, lead singer of AC/DC is coming out with his autobiography, "The Lives Of Brian", next week and in it he mentions one rock star’s encouragement kept him from quitting the music business. It was in 1973 that Johnson got a spot with his struggling band, Gordie, on the British show, "Top of the Pops". And the headliner that day was Roger Daltry. He said the Who’s lead singer came up to him backstage and told Brian he had, "great pipes." Johnson said, "which, coming from the guy who'd sung 'Won't Get Fooled Again,' was the greatest compliment I'd ever been given!" He said Roger couldn’t have been friendlier and more down to earth and they’ve been friends ever since.
