The Infighting In Journey Is Out Of Control As 50th Anniversary Tour Looms

Journey continues their soap opera with more infighting, this time around founding member, keyboardist Gregg Rolie, who was also the singer before Steve Perry joined the band. He also wrote some of their coolest songs in the early years. Well, current keyboardist, Jonathan Cain, and his televangelist wife, are dead-set against having two keyboardists share the limelight. Co-founding member, guitarist Neil Schon, had been lobbying for Rolie to play since it’s their 50th anniversary tour. But in the latest breaking news, Schon has stated that Rolie will not be reuniting with Journey for the 50th anniversary tour. By the way, both Schon and Rolie were members of Santana before leaving to form Journey in 1973. Whatever the case, the current band members better settle their differences soon as their tour with Toto kicks off in less than a month.
