Kevin from The Paul and Al Show and from the 7-midnight show on HJY here. I've made it quite clear I have been obsessed with Indiana Jones for most of my life. As such I am both greatly anticipating, then, in part, am afraid of, seeing the final Indiana Jones film - the forthcoming "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" in theaters June 30. My anticipation stems from the fact that I think "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is the greatest film of all time, and that the two films that immediately followed, "Temple of Doom" and "Last Crusade" were very good as well, with "Last Crusade" being better than "Temple". My fear about watching "Dial of Destiny" stems from the CRUSHING disappointment that was "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". And from all the "Dial of Destiny" trailers I've seen, the jury is still out for me as to what I should expect from the franchise's grand finale. Some of these new trailers betray an overuse of CGI special effects, which is NOT in the spirit of the original films. And in the trailer posted here, I don't like the use of the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" music. For Indy films, I prefer the more symphonic scores of the genius John Williams. But enough of my babbling. Let me know what you think of this new Indy trailer on the iHeartRadio TalkBack feature.
