New "Mission: Impossible" Trailer Features Cruise's Sickest Stunt Yet

After the last "Mission: Impossible" movie, I walked out of the theater saying that Tom Cruise could NEVER top the stunts, danger, and action of that film. But this new trailer for "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" appears to prove me wrong. Listen, I KNOW Tom Cruise is a little... I don't know... bizarre in real life, to put it politely. But from "Mission: Impossible" films to "Top Gun: Maverick", NO one makes a more thrilling, authentic, mind-blowing action movie than Cruise and his production team. They don't settle for cheesy Hollywood green screens. These are real, life-threatening stunts done in an actual, challenging environment. For all that Tom Cruise may be on the negative side, the guy is fearless, if not maybe a little crazy. The first thing I do every morning is to check the internet to see if Tom Cruise was seriously injured or killed attempting his latest cinematic action feat. He's been so lucky thus far to have just sustained some minor to moderate injuries. The motorcycle/cliff/freefall stunt in this trailer is just RIDICULOUS! And he did, like, six takes to get it perfect! Note to Tom Cruise: while we as moviegoers appreciate your dedication to your craft for our silver screen thrills, you've got a pretty sweet life: limitless wealth, fame, good looks. Try not to get yourself killed making the sequel.
