Tom Petty's Estate Sues Auction House Alleging Stolen Memorabilia

Tom Petty's family has taken legal action against RR Auction House after they announced the sale of personal property of Petty’s. The family says, wait a minute, that stuff was all stolen! 

In a legal statement they say, “We believe RR Auction is offering stolen Tom Petty memorabilia. They will not disclose the cosigner who has provided these items or how they were acquired."

The family is asking fans and collectors to NOT participate in this auction as they say they can prove the stuff was stolen.

Among the missing items are jackets and types of clothing as well as autographed items like albums, CD's, and guitars. And, no mention of them, but we're guessing there are a few stolen bongs on the list! Read the full story HERE.
