94 HJY's Kevin's Thoughts On "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny"

Kevin from The Paul and Al Show and 7-Midnights on 94 HJY pictured here in 1983 at age 11, shortly after a very unhealthy obsession with Indiana Jones started and which has continued up until age 51 and counting. Kevin of course saw "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" on opening night. See his review below.

94 HJY's Kevin from The Paul and Al Show and lifelong Indiana Jones fanatic. I just saw “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” on opening night. If I had a “Dial of Destiny” and could travel back in time, the 51 year-old version of me tonight would visit the 11 year-old version of me below in 1983 and tell him that, after seeing “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” in 1989, to simply enjoy the next 34 years of your life feeling that your beloved film franchise, featuring three very entertaining movies, got the perfect cinematic send-off with Indy literally riding off into the sunset. And, whatever you do, do NOT see “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” in 2008. Absolutely HORRIBLE! But, in 2023, go with your brother, Brian, as you did for every other Indy movie the past 42 years, to see the final installment, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”. Is it as good as “Raiders”? No, nothing ever will be. But it has some really cool moments, lots of action, is admittedly a bit too long, the usual brilliance of Harrison Ford, a very satisfying ending, and a bittersweet farewell to an iconic movie hero.
