Wolfgang Van Halen did an interview with Classic Rock magazine and was asked about the most influential albums in his life. And his tastes are varied as, according to Wolfy, was his father’s. The son of the late guitar god Eddie Van Halen said one of his favorites was also one of his dad’s, unexpectedly, Peter Gabriel. Wolfgang picked the album “So” by the former Genesis singer. He also said he was massively influenced by Tool, Nine Inch Nails, and the Beatles. The only band that had two albums in his top ten? Van Halen, of course! Wolfgang added, "I don't think you can fully represent what Van Halen is without looking at both the Roth era and the Hagar era." Read the full story HERE.

At Wolfie's request, a little bit of David Lee...

On the air we talked about Wolfgang Van Halen's top ten influences and in this interview he talks about other musical influences and reveals that the guys in Metallica aren't nearly as scary as their music!
