Brian May Saddened By Auction Of Freddie Mercury's Priceless Possessions

The 6-day "Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own" auction at Sotheby's in London is underway in which over 1,500 of his precious worldly possessions will go under the hammer. Mercury left these possessions to his best friend and onetime girlfriend Mary Austin before his passing in 1991.

Queen guitarist Brian May posted on Instagram his deep sadness over the Mercury auction and that his most intimate personal effects will be simply doled out to the highest bidder. See May's heartfelt Instagram post HERE.
