Jimi Hendrix died on this day back in 1970 at the age of 27. His friend, Ginger Baker, the late drummer of Cream, says it definitely was NOT a drug overdose. Whatever the cause, what a HUGE loss to the music world even to this day. Pure genius... even on the acoustic.
