Wolfgang Van Halen was recently asked why Van Halen's final studio album, 2012's "A Different Kind of Truth" has been pulled from streaming services. Wolfie revealed, to the surprise of pretty much no one, that David Lee Roth, who sang on that record, is refusing to renew the streaming contract for the album because he "doesn't like it." While I can understand that Roth might not be crazy about his own, mediocre vocals on "ADKOT", the instrumentation on that record from Eddie, Alex, and even Wolfgang (though I still miss Michael Anthony and his back-up vocals especially) is pretty damn masterful. And, with Eddie gone and only the slim hope of a new Van Halen studio record gathered from the 5150 archives, to Dave, I ask: "Why deprive your loyal, dedicated fans of old and a new generation of phenomenal, original music in a world that desperately needs it?"
